I took this picture Sunday afternoon in my backyard. I believe it's a Prairie Falcon... but I am not too sure.

Well, I was totally wrong. It seems to be a red-tailed hawk. (Thanks Jason for pointing me to the link). Here is an easy way to tell between falcons and hawks. Falcons have longer wings, exceeding the tailtip. Hawks have smaller wings and longer tails. Falcons have dark eyes... well it's a hawk! doesn't make much difference to me, it's a great bird.
